A wooden car is the perfect first “real build” for kids—simple, satisfying, and instantly fun once the wheels spin freely. The best part is watching it roll smoothly after careful fitting and sanding.

This premium, fundamentals-focused workshop uses hand tools only and builds confidence through real making skills. Kids work with solid wood in small groups (max 6) with instructor-led, step-by-step guidance, learning accuracy, safe habits, and proud craftsmanship from start to finish.

What You’ll Learn

  • Measuring and marking: length, centerlines, and wheel/axle layout
  • Hand-sawing and trimming: refining the body shape with safe technique
  • Hand drilling: axle holes and wheel mounting holes with steady control
  • Shaping: rounding edges and refining the car profile using hand tools
  • Assembly: glue application, positioning parts, and keeping everything square
  • Finishing: progressive sanding and a kid-safe finish for a smooth, durable feel

  • One free reschedule is permitted if requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled class.
  • Any additional changes, or changes requested within 24 hours of the class, are subject to a rebooking fee of AED 150.
  • Missed classes or no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
