This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed with The Makers Society are processed and delivered. By placing an order on shop.makingdubai.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Shipping Coverage

We currently ship within the United Arab Emirates only.

All orders are delivered via our logistics partner Quiqup.

Shipping Fees

  • Orders of AED 500 and above qualify for free delivery
  • Orders below AED 500 incur the delivery fee displayed at checkout

All applicable shipping fees are calculated and shown before order confirmation.

Order Processing Time

Orders placed before 13:00 (GST), Monday to Saturday, are typically processed and dispatched on the same or next working day.

Orders placed after this cut-off time, on Sundays, or on UAE public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Made-to-Order and Special Items

Some items, including cutting boards and other made-to-order products, require additional production time prior to dispatch.

Production for these items may take up to 10 working days. You will be notified by email once your order is ready to ship.

Estimated Delivery Time

Once dispatched, estimated delivery time is 2–5 working days, depending on the delivery location within the UAE.

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including courier delays or unforeseen circumstances.

Order Tracking

A tracking link will be sent to you by email or SMS once your order has been collected by the courier.

Delivery Accuracy

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are accurate and complete at checkout.

The Makers Society cannot be held responsible for delivery delays, failed deliveries, or lost parcels resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Undeliverable Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable due to incorrect delivery information or unsuccessful delivery attempts:

  • The product price may be refunded, subject to our Refund Policy

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the delivery issue was caused by us

Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Contact support@makingdubai.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

We will assess the case and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.
