This push-along turtle is a classic first build—kids love the friendly shape, and it’s incredibly satisfying when it rolls smoothly for the first time. The rounded shell makes it feel like a real handmade toy, not a craft project.

This is a premium, fundamentals-building workshop using hand tools only. Kids work with solid wood in small groups (max 6) with instructor-led, step-by-step guidance, building confidence through measuring, clean drilling, careful hand-fitting, and a smooth, safe finish. The focus is on accuracy, safe habits, and proud craftsmanship—without shortcuts.

  • Solid wood parts/blanks for the turtle body and wheels
  • Dowels/pins for axles (as needed for the design)

  • Hand tools provided during the workshop (measuring, marking, hand drilling, shaping, sanding)
  • Safety gear provided and required: protective eyewear (and additional protection as needed)
  • A completed wooden turtle on wheels to take home

  • One free reschedule is permitted if requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled class.
  • Any additional changes, or changes requested within 24 hours of the class, are subject to a rebooking fee of AED 150.
  • Missed classes or no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
