This dog lamp is a show-stopper: kids build a character piece that actually works and looks amazing on a bedside table. The best moment is when the “dog” stands confidently and the lamp lights up—made by their own hands.

This is a premium, fundamentals-building workshop using hand tools only. Students work with solid wood (light-grain softwood) in small groups (max 6) with instructor-led, step-by-step guidance. Across two sessions, they develop confidence through accurate layout, clean drilling, careful fitting, and disciplined finishing—building safe habits and real craftsmanship.
