This mini wooden chair is a “wow” project—kids love building something that looks like real furniture, just perfectly scaled down. It’s especially satisfying when the frame comes together square and the chair stands strong on all four legs.

This is a premium, fundamentals-building workshop using hand tools only. Kids work with solid wood in small groups (max 6) with instructor-led, step-by-step guidance, developing confidence through accurate measuring, careful assembly, and clean finishing. The focus is on safe habits, tidy joints, and proud craftsmanship—no shortcuts, just real making.

What You’ll Learn

  • Project planning: identifying parts (legs, arms, rails, seat/back) and build order
  • Measuring and marking: consistent lengths, centerlines, and reference edges
  • Hand-sawing: cutting small parts safely and refining edges
  • Hand drilling: pilot holes for controlled, stronger joinery
  • Assembly: glue control, keeping the frame square, and aligning arms and backrest
  • Finishing: progressive sanding and a kid-safe finish for a smooth, furniture-like feel

  • Any additional changes, or changes requested within 24 hours of the class, are subject to a rebooking fee of AED 150.
