Where can I learn woodworking in Dubai?
You can learn woodworking in Dubai at The Makers Society, a dedicated woodworking workshop and training centre in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 3. It teaches complete beginners through experienced makers, hands-on, using real hand tools and machines in a working studio rather than a classroom. The simplest way in is a 2-hour trial class for AED 150, which is redeemable against a longer course.
What you can learn
You can build hand-tool skills — sharpening, sawing, chiselling, planing and joinery — or work on machines through the guided Machine Training track. If you want structure, the Modular Pathway unlocks skills stage by stage toward independent workshop access.
Who it's for
Adults at any level. You don't need experience or your own tools, and groups are kept small so you actually get time at the bench.
Where and when
The workshop is in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 3, Dubai, open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00–20:00 (closed Monday).
How to start
Book a 2-hour trial class, or message the team on WhatsApp to talk through where to begin. You can also read guides in the Makers Library, or see what classes cost.
