INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to every visitor to, or purchaser from, the "The Makers Society" online store at makingdubai.com. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
We endeavour to keep all descriptions, images and prices accurate. Because many items are handmade and wood is a natural material, minor variations in colour, grain or finish may occur. We may change or discontinue products at any time without notice.

PRICING AND VAT
All prices are stated in United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) and currently include any applicable taxes. When our VAT registration is complete, invoices will show our Tax Registration Number (TRN) and a VAT breakdown.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND PAYMENT
Orders are accepted subject to stock availability and payment authorisation. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is accepted. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (for example, because an item is out of stock or a price was listed in error).

SHIPPING
We ship only within the United Arab Emirates using our logistics partner Quiqup. Orders of AED 500 and above are delivered free of charge; orders below AED 500 incur the delivery fee displayed at checkout. Estimated delivery is two to five working days from dispatch. Shipping occurs only during "The Makers Society" opening times. Full operational details are provided in our separate Shipping & Returns Policy.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Physical products (hand tools, accessories, unopened consumables) may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused, in their original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase. Refunds are issued either to the original payment method or as store credit, at the customer’s choice. Digital woodworking plans are non-refundable. Custom-made or personalised items cannot be cancelled or returned once production has begun. The step-by-step returns procedure is set out in the Shipping & Returns Policy.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS – LICENSE OF USE
Digital woodworking plans are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, resale, or commercial manufacture based on these plans without our written permission is prohibited.

CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS
Custom or personalised items are made to the customer’s specifications. Once an order is confirmed and production has started it cannot be modified or cancelled. In the rare event of defect or error on our part we will repair, replace or refund as appropriate.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Woodworking involves sharp tools, heavy machinery and inherent risk. By purchasing products or plans from The Makers Society you accept full responsibility for safe and correct use. The Makers Society will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from misuse, improper technique or failure to follow appropriate safety guidance. We strongly recommend proper training before using any woodworking equipment.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All text, images, logos and digital plans on this site are the property of The Makers Society and are protected by UAE and international intellectual-property laws. No content may be copied or used without prior written consent.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from use of the site or purchases made through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
