Chip Carving Residency with Bernat Mercader (5-Day Intensive)

A five-day chip carving intensive with visiting master carver Bernat Mercader of Woodbern Carvings (Barcelona), held at The Makers Society in Ras Al Khor, Dubai.

Monday 3 to Friday 7 November 2026. You go from your first cuts to a finished, framed-ready carved panel. Bernat teaches the full method: knife control, laying out patterns, the classic grids and rosettes, and how to start designing your own. All levels welcome, beginners included.

Wood, materials and bench tools are provided. A carving knife is required for this course and can be purchased on the day, and it is yours to keep.
