There’s something instantly satisfying about building an airplane—you see it take shape fast, and it feels like a real toy you can proudly play with. Kids love the moment it finally stands on its wheels and “flies” across the table.

This is a premium, fundamentals-building workshop using hand tools only. Your child will work with solid wood in a small group (max 6) with instructor-led, step-by-step guidance—building confidence, accuracy, and safe habits from the start. Every cut, hole, and curve is made through a calm, guided process that teaches real carpentry foundations.

What You’ll Learn

  • Measuring and marking: centerlines, part placement, and symmetry checks
  • Hand-sawing and shaping: refining edges, rounding the nose, and smoothing transitions
  • Hand drilling: creating clean, evenly spaced “window” holes and alignment holes for assembly
  • Assembly skills: glue control, clamping/holding methods, and keeping parts square
  • Finishing basics: progressive sanding and a kid-safe finish for a smooth, durable feel

  • Solid wood parts/blanks for the airplane build (fuselage, wings, tail, landing gear pieces)

  • All courses are non-refundable.
  • One free reschedule is permitted if requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled class.
  • Any additional changes, or changes requested within 24 hours of the class, are subject to a rebooking fee of AED 150.
  • Missed classes or no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
  • Minimum age: 6+
